This amplifier can be connected between a satellite dish and a receiver.

The LNB switching voltage is used as a supply for the amplifier.

The amplifier cannot compensate for an under-size or poorly aligned dish

This amplifier would not normally be required for Sky/Freesat unless it is on a very long cable run.
